This is a Mission Morris recliner chair in the style derived from a design by Gustav Stickley, father of the English Arts and Crafts movement, named after philosopher, poet and designer William Morris, and made even more famous by the legendary architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
The beauty of the chair comes from it's architectural lines and structural form. Heavy members, with mortise and tenon joinery, demonstrate integrity and quality.
